1979 Triumph Bonneville

Original owner selling a 1979 Triumph T140E Bonneville 750, dealer serviced with 4858 original miles. Has a smaller back sprocket for reduced RPM at highway speeds and the European carburetor jets to reduce loading when riding in town. The 'E' model is emissions compliant with a new cylinder head and redesigned Amal carburetors. Most 'E' models had design improvements including new Lucas switchgear, electronic ignition and a new side panel design. The bike has been in storage with fresh oil and the gasoline drained. Only needs a new battery to be in riding condition. The negatives are flaking paint on the frame with surface rust, lettering fade and some chrome pitting and the tachometer is not working.
