This 1968 Mercury Cougar XR-7 has 77,600 miles, which I believe to be original. The car is well optioned, and includes the following: 390 cubic inch engine (X-code) C6 automatic transmission 2.75 rear end Power steering Power brakes Front disc brakes Air conditioning Sequential turn signals Grecian Gold exterior (original color) Light Nugget Gold interior (leather trimmed front buckets) The car has been sitting for five years, and has not been started in that time. I have owned the car for over 15 years, and used to drive it around 2,000 miles a year with no problems. Lack of time has kept the car in the driveway instead of the highway. There are multiple areas that will require rust repair. First and foremost, the driver's front floorpan and front framerail will need to be replaced. The passenger front floor and framerail will need replacing as well. There is rust on the bottom of the doors, as well as the passenger side A pillar where it meets the roof. I prefer PayPal. 3. Final payment must be received within 7 business days after close of auction. 4. Payment can be made by cashier’s check or money order. Shipping Terms 1. Buyer to arrange for and pay any shipping costs. 2. Buyer is responsible for pick up or shipping of this vehicle within 3 weeks firm of auction end.
