Here is a great opportunity to own an iconic Thunderbird Elan that is rust free and has had just two southern owners, originally a southern California car. This t-bird is 100% original (aside from battery and possibly tires) it has not been damaged and/or repaired, unmodified and not customized in any way. The car is loaded with factory options and is very straight. This car was found here locally, owned by an elderly lady and has been sitting here in the dry Phoenix climate for a few years undriven. The CarFax lines up nicely and the car is titled with Box "A" (actual) mileage. The nice thing is that there is absolutley no rust on the car, the tradeoff from being in the warm AZ sun is that it does show a little heat stress. There are a couple minor splits in the dash pad (that can be cheaply concealed by a dash cover for 25.00), the rubber trim around the center of the seats controls is bowing slightly and the silver lining around the top of the bodyside molding shows some weathering. Aside from that it is nice and clean, a few blemishes in the finish but no major dings, dents or scratches. Glass is excellent, crystal clear with no pitting, chips or scratches. Tires are so-so, they have some tread remaining. The interior is pretty amazing, carpets and seating look brand new and it includes the original floor mats, owners manual, warranty card and hub cap-tool as well as a spare tire that's never been on the ground. The car is California emissions equipped, it runs and drives well, A/C blows cold, it starts quickly and the transmission shifts at the right points. The only two things I noticed not working properly were the power antenna and power door locks (which I will address), all else works great including the power seats, windows, A/C, trunk release, fuel door release, etc. Don't miss this opportunity to own a real find on a 100% original, unmolested car. You will likely never find one again that is a rust free southern car with documaneted origal mileage this low. My price is alrady cheap but I know we all want a deal so submit a reasonable offer.
