Ready ?? 1939 Studebaker Commander. ORIGINAL ONE OWNER !! Grandma's car. Only, I'm not kidding OR hyping anything. Grandma, (mine) traded in her 37' Oldsmobile for the new Studebaker in 1939. I have the ORIGINAL INVOICE somewhere. It will be included in the sale. In April of 53' grandma drove her car into her heated garage, turned it off and went in the house. Later that evening she suffered a heart attack and passed away. My parents lived in the house, raised me in the house and NEVER took the car out of the garage, EVER! Not once! 57 years later, I moved my now elderly folks to Florida. I finally sold the family home this past July. That's the first time the car has seen the light of day in all these many years. I subsequently moved the car to a family farm in WI. It is still there and the family has decided to sell the old car. Motor IS NOT seized but I have not made any attempt to start it. It has not run in almost 59 years. It is just as it was put away. It is not rusted through anywhere, but it does have some corrosion. I weigh 230 and can stand on the running boards. It has some scrapes and dents. Apparently, Grandma kept trying to nudge the house out of the overly narrow driveway.
