Every year I buy a used bike in different parts of the country and take two weeks to drive it back to my home in CT. This summer I bought this ST 1300 in Dallas and enjoyed the 2000 mile ride home. I could have bought the same bike 20 miles down the road but then I would have missed 1980 miles. I put 4000 miles on this bike over the past few months and there are no issues at all. It runs perfectly. I also have a BMW K1200GT and this bike is more comfortable for me and has better aerodynamics. Recent oil change and look-over at Razee's in North Kingstown, RI and they found nothing that needed attention. Bike has throttle lock which works great and honda accessory shelf on dash for mounting accessories. Tires are in excellent condition and have plenty of life left in them. There may be one or two small chips but the paint is really excellent. Has passenger backrest and saddle bag liners. Inspection encouraged, you will not be disappointed. Change the oil regularly and these motors do 100,000 miles without breathing hard. I will buy another one on the west coast this spring and take another trip. I'm almost 70 and have a few more trips left.
