Vehicle Detail

1967 Ford Mustang GTFully DocumentedA-code, 4 speed, Traction Lock You are viewing a 1967 Ford Mustang GT Fastback with only 24K miles on the clock. This car is equipped with its original #'s matching A-code 289 4bbl., 4 speed, and Traction Lock differential. Original build sheet, Window Sticker, Bill of Sale, Books & Manual, as well as a full Marti Report all verify the originality of the vehicle. What makes this car even more special is the fact that its a true survivor! She still maintains its original Wimbeldon White paint and original black interior. This is a one owner car that has always been stored in a climate controled environment and the car is 99% rust free. Truely a rare find. The body is very straight and the paint still looks great, some minor stone chips here and there, but nothing more than you'd expect from a 24000 mile car. The interior is also original and is near perfect, only the carpet is faded. The original motor runs very strong, starts with a click of the key and settles into a smooth idle. The original 4 speed hooks up great and the shifter feels tight. She is equipped with the original posi differential with the Shelby override traction bars. The car runs and drives as new. Everything works as it should, the windows roll up & down effortlessly and the glass is beautiful. Even the chrome still looks great. I was told by the original owner that the side exhaust was a dealer installed option when the car was new and they look very nice. The original steel style wheels look like new and the newer radial tire make her ride like a dream. The underside is rust free and only has its original undercoat on the floor pans. Nothing has been done to this car to dress it up for sale, the way you see the car in the pics is the way it should be, it would be easy to paint the motor and spray some underhood black, but in my opinion the car should remain in the original state she was found in. Even the original floor mats were found in the trunk as well as the jack & spare. I just overloaded the room with light and it makes the car look whiter than it really is, the car is Wimbledon White. The car can be viewed by appointment. Once paid, I can store inside to give you time to arrange shipping if needed. Please ask all questions or come see the car before auctions end. If you would like to discuss the car further or need more info call anytime. I can be reached at (845)728-0428 or (845)728-6575, Tim.
