Untitled Document 2008 Ford F-250 Crew Cab Short Bed XLT 4x4 1-Company Original Condition Corporate Fleet Vehicle, Bi-Fuel Gas/CNG Setup in Perfect Working order, Good Shape, Runs+Drives Excellent, Clean No Road Salt History, Well Equipped, Solid Rig! year 2008 drive train 4x4 make Ford ext color White model F-250 int color Tan sub model Superduty Crew Cab Short Box 4x4 XLT vin 1FTSW21588EE24215 engine 5.4 Liter Triton V8 Gas/CNG (NOT E85) mileage 143771 transmission Automatic OD stock # AC11891 about This is a nice well serviced 1-company corporate fleet lease truck we purchased here in the Denver area. It's a full crew short XLT 4x4 superduty with the 5.4 motor. This guy has a bi-fuel capacity and will run on compressed natural gas or standard gasoline. It was leased by a company in the energy/natural resource industry. The truck has been used, but definitely well serviced and it really runs and drives great for having a few miles. This is a neat truck and a great buy and it has a long ways to go yet. I had a lot of requests to check the CNG system over and we've done so. I put 50 miles on the truck, running CNG, the electric switching is essentially seamless between the 2 systems, and it will automatically switch back to gas if the CNG is manually switched off, or if it runs out. I've confirmed by watching the gauge that it is indeed running the natural gas, it is audibly just slightly different sounding, performance is almost equal to Gas in terms of power and drive-ability, very impressed with usability. This is a great design. Call with ?s. exterior The paint and body on this pickup are in presentable condition. It's white which doesn't show much wear. The paint has good gloss, no body rust, no noticeable hail, and no obvious damage. It has a clean history report, doesn't appear to have been in any accidents. The doors all open and close easily, tailgate opens/shuts fine, and the paint matches. The truck spent its' life in Colorado and probably hasn't seen any road salt. The wheels are a bit pitted, tires as well from dirt roads, but they still have good tread and seem to ride fine, even on the highway. The bed is clean inside, does have the CNG tank at the front, under a protective cover. The windshield is new. The bumpers are straight, no front lower valence included on this guy, they come off frequently and we can get one if you feel you need it. The truck has a fair amount of road wear on the lower rockers behind the wheels from the dirt roads. We touched it up, looks ok. This wasn't an oilfield truck, but it's not a virgin either. It does have a few miscellaneous small nicks and marks, nothing bad, chrome up front is a bit pitted from freeway driving too. It is a good looking rig, just like the photos, just don't expect a new vehicle. interior The interior is pleasant. You can tell right off by the condition of the drivers seat, it just has freeway mileage, not a lot of in/out wear. It's a well tooled XLT model, all power including seats, carpet, cloth, tilt, cruise, cd player w/ ipod jack, keyless, backup parking sensors, built in brake controller, etc. Everything works as far as I can tell. The only thing I noticed, the backup sensors seem to be picking up on the hitch tongue, which happens to be tack welded in. I'm sure we can remove it if need be. There's 1 tiny burn mark on the drivers seat and a few on the tunnel carpet. I'm very picky and don't think it really smells, maybe just faintly evident, but barely. The most noticeable wear is a lot of black staining on the rear passenger seat back. Other than that, just a little normal wear and tear. The interior actually wasn't terribly dusty like some of these natural gas service trucks we've come across. It wasn't difficult to clean, came up fine. mechanical I put almost 750 miles on this pickup, most of which was pulling a double axle trailer hauling equipment and moving some stuff. It was just what I picked out, and I must say it did the job very well. It's super easy to drive, quiet, smooth, civilized, all very nice and solid. I think the most weight I probably had behind it was 6,000lbs, and it pulled that fine, I'm sure it's rated closer to 10k+. The truck has been through our shop. It has new oil, filter, we repaired a broken abs wire, and replaced a speed sensor. The brake pad life is good, belt and hoses fine, no wet leaks underneath, it tracks well and there's no check engine light illuminated. The motor is quiet, trans fluid is clean and 4x4 works as it should. I have to assume, given the very high expense of the initial conversion, this truck probably ran on CNG a good part of its' life. A gasoline engine will run almost indefinitely on compressed natural gas. There is almost no carbon build up, they burn loads cleaner than regular gasoline and with normal oil changes, can last well past a half million miles. comments This is a good rig and a neat find. We guarantee original miles and clean title. Feel free to call if you're interested or have questions. Please ask for Michael or Tim when calling or stopping by. 303.841.5377.
