Vehicle Detail

This numbers matching car is a true Oklahoma "barn find" sitting since 1975 in dry storage. "Numbers matching" includesSS block, Stage 1 heads, carburator, distributor, BB transmission, 342 posi rear end, and air conditioner compressor. The car was parked in 1975 due to a dropped valve that in turn knocked a hole in the piston. The engine has been professionally examined. It will require a .030 cylinder bore and an exhaust valve replacement. The body is in excellent rust free condition. The front passenger side door and fender were damaged when the previous owner pulled it from the barn just prior to my arrival when the barn shifted and began to collapse. Included, however, is a door and fender removed from a rust free parts car. The pictures do show rust coloring, but that is only surface rust due to age and storage. This is a rust free car requiring NO replacement sheet metal for any part including the trunk floor, floor boards, quarter panels, fenders, etc. The undercarriage has never been exposed to adverse conditions such as salted roads and is in beautiful condition. Also, ALL the glass is in excellent condition. The interior has standard equipped bench seat with column shift. You will also notice on the "parts included" list is acomplete Legendary interior kit. This car was equipped with Super Sport Rally wheels. They are in great shape and include trim rings and center caps. The following is a list of parts included with the sale of this vehicle: Legendary Interior kit (seat covers, door panels, headliner, sunvisors, carpet)Re-chromed interior pieces (instrument bezel, radio bezel, and many other trim pieces)NOS GM radiator core support#s matching radiator and bypass hosesNew under-hood wiring harnessNew fuel tankVery good condition color matching dash padRe-chromed front bumperParts Place new replacement front grillMany other misc used parts It should also be noted that this rare car has been featured in two nationally recognized publications ( "Muscle Car Review "and"Jerry Heasley's Rare Finds").It is also been documented by the GS Historic society as a authentic GS Stage 1.
