Vehicle Detail

RELIST BECAUSE THE ODOMETER SHOWS 50,090. NOT 50190 912E ONLY Four Made Out Of 2,100 In “Light Yellow” (Hellgelb) # B6-B6 Code 117-9-1 (062) Showing 50,150 miles. (* see below) I will spare you the details about the history of 912E’s because if You are looking at this car, you probably already know about the uniqueness and rarity of the car. This car has never been offered for sale on ebay. This is the first time. It was originally bought new at Continental Porsche/Audi in Portland, Oregon in October 1975, and has been in Oregon its entire life. It has now been brought to the Los Angeles area to sell. This is a spectacular driving car. Starts right up, idles very smooth, and runs straight and feels very solid. No shakes, wobbles or shimmies. The Transmission shifts perfectly and the clutch is great. I have owned several 912E’s, and driven a lot more. This is the best driving 912E I have ever driven. Not to mention the terrific gas mileage. This car has all the books and records. There are lots of receipts for things like Clutch, brakes, fuel injection, rotors, timing belt, muffler, heat exchangers and lots more along with all the service and maintenance receipts. The body of the car is completely original. No accidents, no paint or body work ever. I could not find any rust anywhere. All the gaps and spacing are even and straight. The paint is beautiful and still holds its luster. The only issues with the paint is a small paint scrape on the lower rear passenger door (see photo) and the hood. After getting the usual rock chips on the hood, a Hood-Bra was used and never removed. The paint has discolored where the Hood-Bra was and should be repainted or perhaps color sanded. See pictures with Bra on and off. The interior, with the exception of the headliner is perfect. The dash is original with no cracks or discolor. The carpets are like new, the door panels are like new. I had the seats reupholstered in OEM original material. Ash tray has never been used. Looking at this interior is like going through a time machine. Headliner, bad. I have a new OEM off/white headliner with sunroof zipper that I will include. You will need an upholstery shop to install it. Mechanically this car needs nothing. Everything works perfectly. Even the clock keeps perfect time. I can’t say enough about the way this car drives. How smooth and solid it is. The car has been sitting in my garage for over two weeks and it has not dripped one drop of oil. This car has always been an adult owned and pampered car. Special Note; Unlike almost all the 912E’s you’ll find, this car still has the original smog pump that is required to register the car in California and some other states that require a smog check. Miles; When I received the car from the transport company the odometer was not working. Some of the numbers were stuck half way to the next number. Some were a little off and some were way off. I purchased a working OEM speedometer with 50,090 miles showing on the odometer. Out of all the dozens of receipts, the latest one shows 90,136 miles. It is believed that the car has just over 100,000 original miles. Although it drives like it has 10,000 miles. If you are thinking about getting a nice, clean and straight Vintage 911 or 912 and you find one but the price is too high, don’t worry, there will be another one just as nice come along next week, and the next week and the week after week. If you are thinking about a nice, clean and straight 912E, it may be years before one comes along this nice and straight. And if it does, it will probably have the smog pump removed and that makes the car unoriginal and devalues the car substantially. BUY NOW I am starting the auction at $12,800 because that is the quote an exotic car dealership in Beverly Hills has offered to buy it for. I expect the car to sell somewhere in the high teens. Maybe even up to $20,000. Who knows? The high bidder over $12,800 wins the car. I will sell the car before the last 24 hours of the Auction for $16,500. The money must be paid before the last 24 hours. If not bought early AND paid for before the last 24 hours, the high bidder wins. Please note, the auction does not stop because you bid $16,500. It must be paid before the last 24 hours to stop the auction. This car is located in the city of Walnut, CA. That’s the far eastern part of Los Angeles. It is available for inspection and driving anytime. Stuart 909 239-6199 This car is not for everyone, it’s for the connoisseur, someone that loves cars and fine heritages of automobiles. A collector and a purist. An investor, a sports car enthusiast, someone frugal but adventurous. Someone who wants something special and unique yet not ostentatious. MADE IN GERMANY
