No rust, Always garaged and it shows. Basically a one family ownership car. One respray in the original color that was done I think about 5 years ago. Looks like a professional job but not done to show quality. There are paint defects and some minor door dings etc. I would call it a five footer. Engine compartment is clean and the interior is all original and in good condition. The car has not been on the road for about three years so I would recommend a complete service, tune up and check up of all systems. It needs a clutch slave cylinder which I have but not installed. The temperature gage and fuel gage are not working and most likely a fuse or connection. It comes with a stainless exhaust system also not installed. In summary with just normal maintenance type work it could be on the road again.I have not driven this vehicle on the road but have no reason to think it has any problems. Please note that I do not represent this car as a show car. I was going to keep it but an early Mercedes Minimog found it way home and it will be my winter project. it is availble for your inspection and as with the purchase of any car I would recommend seeing it in person.These cars were faster than the early Jag XKE's.
