I am the original and only owner of this vehicle. Rare find - 4 cylinder with manual transmission, this 4 Runner has been a dream. Purchased in Colorado in 1990 and then relocated to Kansas City with us in 1998, this vehicle has worked great, always had oil changed every 3K to 5K miles and regular maintenance. All records and maintenance can be provided. While in Colorado, the odometer stopped working and was repaired immediately, so not sure why the record states mileage not verified, but it was immediately repaired. The reserve has been lowered, so please review again if you have looked prior! This has been a fabulous vehicle for us for 22 years!This vehicle has Thule roof rack, trailer hitch and AC. Within the last month, the vehicle started experiencing a heat issue. After taking to a local Toyota dealer, the vehicle was returned to us from the dealer with oil in the radiator indicating a head gasket issue. We have decided to sell to someone who has the wherewithal to repair the engine. The only issue seems to be the head gasket, however, there may be other issues with the motor that are not known at this time, but a test was performed by Molle Toyota, KCMO, while it was in their shop August 21 - 24, 2012 which showed that the engine block is not cracked. This can be verified by the Service Dept. Manager. All New Firestone Destination tires in 2010 at mileage 251,458, so only 19,000 miles on these tires - and they have been rotated every 5000 miles with records. The body and interior are in good shape. No one has ever smoked in this vehicle and the jack has never been used. There are a few character marks on the exterior and driver's seat has cracks in the side but dash is great as is the rest of the interior - see pictures. The rugs are still in fairly good condition but somewhat worn. We still have the original rubber floor mats - still in great shape. Passenger seat is like new, and the back seat is hardly worn. Everyone who sees this vehicle remarks that this vehicle looks fantastic, and no one ever realizes its age. (Unless they are true 4 Runner afficinados as no doubt you are and know the body style.) The exterior and all working parts have been kept in great condition, and the vehicle has always been garaged. This vehicle was involved in a fender bender in 2009 but this vehicle was not harmed. Recent repairs and upgrades include: 2012 - new hoses, new thermostat; 2011 - new speedo cable, new brake shoes, new rear wheel seals, new H20 pump; 2010 - new U joint on rear drive shaft, new clutch, new alternator, new battery, new Firestone Destination tires (at odometer mileage 251, 458). All pictures included show the condition of the car today, October 12, 2012 with the addition of pictures showing my son in his and the car's early years and now fully grown this year. We have loved this car. It is an amazing vehicle, and would be a fantastic purchase - only in need of a little engine TLC!
