2000 Jeep Cherokee factory built GM Police Jeep. This was an option that Municipalities could buy from GM, where the following were added to the build of Cherokee's when ordered: -Full Rubber one peice floor installed at the factory (Great for any type of spill and wont wear) -Certified Speedometer with non limited 125mph speed -EXT Idle switch (most jeeps have a blank where this is). This option kicks the idle up approx 750 rpm to allow higher alternator and cooling fan operation while the officer was sitting at idle. -Full alternative vinyl seats (only came in Police builds). -Front Police push bars (I removed, but will include if the high bidder wants them). I bought this truck about 2 years ago and have driven it every day since. The original Florida title listed "POLICE" as the vehicle type. I still have a copy of it. If you click on ebays history report, you can see it was a police vehicle until I bought it. All law enforcement lights have been removed per local laws. It has the highly sought after "command trac" trans that has the selectable "FULL TIME" 4x4 (most are only part time). This Jeep is probably one of the cleanest XJ's you will find. No rust. I bought it where it has been it's whole life....in FLORIDA. It has only been in IL since I bought it. Near new Firestone Destination AT tires bought last year. No uneven wear. All maintenance has been done on time, every time. Never more than 3k between oil changes, rotation of tires every other oil change, Coolant changed every season, Plugs and wires. Every time a noise or issue arose, it was taken care of and fixed with original GM parts. Mopar trailer hitch. Sound bar. No issues at all. I promise. Just passed IL emissions with flying colors a week ago. I travel for a living and this has been my daily driver. I have put around 40k miles on this Jeep since I bought it. Every detail has been attended to. I assure the winning bidder that I dont sell junk. I maintain all of my vehicles to the highest standard. I am only selling it because it is coming close to 100k miles. That allows me to still sell it to anyone that needs to get a loan on it. I will buy a wrangler next, same year, just because this has been such a great vehicle. I assure you you will agree. The stock radio will be installed prior to pick up.
