For Sale; A 1979 CHEVROLET MONZA hatchback. This car was originally built for PRO STREET and was carefully planned to allow the full interior and has all the original wiring and was setup for a 14 gallon fuel cell. It is a Back Half 2 X 3 car with a FOUR LINK suspension that includes Art Morrison bushed Rod ends,Track locator, coil over shocks/etc. All fabrication work is mig welded and is quality in layout/execution.The rear is a Narrowed 12 Bolt with 4.56 posi Auburn carrier and the rear wheels are WELD Superlite 15 X 10 with 295/65 BFG drag radials. All the interior Tinwork is bead rolled custom and is also nice quality work including the transition to the original floor pan. There is additional room for larger tires/wheels. The blue coloring on the tin is the original protective overlay which needs to be removed. This car was a new build that needs completion and a windshield installed (PROJECT). All the windows roll up/down and the car has the factory tach cluster and gauges in the dash and a tilt column.The front clip was changed to the Cool 4 headlamp style and included is a complete curved tailight setup, rear panel and bumper (the good lookin one) as well as a fiberglass rear hatch if wanted. All the trim is included as well as a driveshaft/crossmember.The engine compartment has been sandblasted/primered. Overall a lot of quality, high dollar work- Cheap.This would make a neat street car with great power to weight ratio. Ask all questions BEFORE bidding.
