Hello E38 enthusiast!. This is a clean BMW 740il that is ready for its new owner. The car is loaded with leather seats in good condition, navigation ( with a full navigation disk set), heated front and rear seats, sunroof, cold AC, rear and side window shades, cruise control, full spare tire and CD changer. The car runs well and gets good gas mileage on the highways. This vehicle does need minor work which has no impact on the vehicles performance. The sunroof opens however when you push the close position it attempts to close and then opens again. Since I have owned four 740's in my lifetime I have seen this problem before so you will need to reset the sunroof. Instructions can be found on e38.org. The rear passenger door regulator needs replacement and the sunshade on that same door needs replacement (I have the parts for both which will be included in this auction).The valve cover gasket needs replacement which I have the part for and will be included in this auction. The few things I mentioned is just maintenance issues. The water pump and serpentine belts have been replaced so you can drive this car anywhere with confidence. I just drove this car 8 hrs on the highway with no problems. The mileage on the car will be higher as I drive this car to work daily. This is a full-size luxury sedan with comfortable seating for five and plenty of rear legroom, the 2000 BMW 7-Series is both upscale and sporty at the same time. If you purchase the car and fly in to BWI in Baltimore or take the bus to Baltimore I will pick you up and take you to the MVA to get a transport tag so you can drive the car home.
