***You are bidding on a meticulously maintained 2000 Land Rover Discovery II. *** This truck has a clean title and has never been in an accident. I am the third owner of the vehicle and the second owner of the vehicle is a close family friend. I am placing the truck up for auction due to the purchase of a new vehicle. The vehicle is in very good condition inside and out and has been professionally maintained at local Land Rover dealerships. I have a detailed file documenting all repairs, oil changes etc. The exterior is in very good condition and looks like the truck has 50,000 miles. The interior is in very good condition with the exception of a very small tear on the lower side of the driver seat. The truck is equipped with driver and passenger seat heaters and (6) disc CD-changer under the passenger seat. The truck has winter weather mats throughout the interior cabin as well as the optional cargo mat. The truck also has (2) PIAA fog lights and (2) cross bars for the roof rack. The truck has a hitch and is wired for a trailer. The dash is equipped with an optional burl wood layout throughout the interior. A great deal of personal time and money has been invested in this truck for it optimal performance during all seasons. Currently the truck runs great, 151,165 miles, heat is hot in the winter, a/c cold in the summer. The complete list of repairs would be excessive to list, but I will highlight the most important: Four new General Grabber HTS tires Professionally rebuilt BOSCH engine installed at: 99,653 miles New exhaust system complete with catalytic converters New intake gaskets, manifold gaskets, etc New oxygen sensors New ignition coils New wires New spark plugs New radiator New power steering pump New steering box New tie rods New steering rods New front and rear pads and rotors New front and rear gear oils, transmission fluid and brake fluid New lower fog light assemblies I reserve the right to end this auction at anytime for any reason. Please serious bidders only and happy bidding! As per Land Rover the sunroof motors may require replacement, both operate, but make noise when opening and closing. Also the “Service Engine” light in the dash cluster occasionally turns on and off randomly. This has been happening for years and I was told about it from the second owner of the truck. I have had Land Rover technicians diagnosing the problem and have replaced the gas cap several times and the light will stay off, turn back on, and clear itself again. As per Land Rover this activity is a mystery and DOES NOT EFFECT the operation of the truck.
