Up for auction is a solid start to a cool Rat rod! The project begins with a 1949 Willys pick-up cab w/attached short box mounted on a modified Model A chassis. The frame has been Zd 4" in front and 6" in the rear. The cab has been channeled 6" over the frame. The front axle is stock Model A with split wishbone radius rods, drop mounted spring perches and an original Willys steering box. The rear is a 10 bolt Chevy with new tubular radius rods and brackets for coil-overs. The cab has a full perimeter brace installed ready for the floor and both doors open and close correctly. Please keep in mind that this is a project and will require fabrication, but is a great opportunity to start with a solid rolling chassis. I also have a pair of Jag coil-over shocks that I will throw in the deal if the price reaches over a grand or if you chose buy it now. Please contact me with any questions. I do not have papers for this, but as it says in the description the VIN tag is intact on the cab and in New York all you need is a rubbing of the tag showing the ID number and insurance cards and you can register the rod. Also I had the VIN number checked and it came back clean! so no issues.
