I bought this truck from the original owner. It was a real Barn Find!! Everything is original, factory parts. Everything works!!! Lights turn signals, windshield wipers, dash gauges. I pulled this truck out of a field, pulled the gas tank, acid washed it and re sealed it. Put a new sending unit in it, flushed the fuel lines, re built the carburetor, put new brakes, new brake and clutch master cylinders, flushed the radiator, changed all the fluids, engine, transmission and rear differential. Put a new starter solenoid, new battery. Wire wheeled and painted the original rims and hub caps, new original sized tires, new original style floor mat. The original owner had it painted 10-15 yrs ago and it is not the best paint job, but it kept it from rusting!!! There are some dents on the wheel wells in the bed and the bed floor is a little wavy. Just needs someone to finish it off with a good paint job. All the Chrome is nice and shiny, no major body defects at all. Never been wrecked. I drive this truck all over town and gets tons of looks, It's a nice old truck that could be a perfect old truck, but I'm out of money and need to pay some bills. Yes, I have the tailgate for the truck, the right lower pin is missing, but I have the chains and hooks for the top. It has had some body repair in the lower front fenders, where they meet the door. It appears to have some body filler there, but it was done long before I got the truck, so not sure how much. Doesn't look like it has much The cab floors were also patched with sheet metal, again, long before I acquired it, they are painted to match the interior.
