Got this Chevelle from a little old lady who only drove it to church on Sundays.... 1965 Chevelle non-SS Sport Coupe. Showing 57700 miles, but unknown. Original numbers matching 283 w/ 2 barrel carb. runs perfectly. Compression even on all cylinders. Doesn't burn oil or smoke. Only modifications/ upgrades made are: TH-350 3spd trans. New dual exhaust w/shorty headers and x-over. Very straight body, solid steel, no bondo, no rust anywhere on body, floorboards, trunk pan, or any sheetmetal, but not perfect, some small dings. Re-painted 3 months ago in original color. The interior is all original and in great shape, except new upholstery on front bench seat and new headliner. Interior also has new dash panel and pad. New Retro-Sounds stereo radio w/ aux input. Column shift w/3spd change-over. Dependable, starts right up first time every time, drive anywhere. Power steering. Manual drum brakes. Very solid driver quality, with a huge potential foundation for upgrades/hot rod mods. Leave as is and drive it, or build your own street rod. No disappointments. I have the original working powerglide trans, original exhaust manifolds, original working AM radio, new front seat foam cushion, front seat-back upholstery, and new door panels in black that will included with the car free on request.
