Up for sale is my 1973 Buick Riviera GS, 455 cu. in. engine w/4-bbl carb, dual exhaust, automatic transmission, VIN # 4Y87U3H511279, with 69,635 original miles. Options include power sunroof, power windows, power seat, power door locks, A/C, power antenna, tilt steering wheel, bucket seats and console, (radio is missing), remote driver’s and manual passenger mirror. The exterior is burgundy with white interior and a white half vinyl top. This is an extremely nice, straight and solid example of an original Riviera that has not been restored but maintained over the years. This car has been in dry, indoor storage for many years. The paint is very nice and looks great needing very little attention with no visible rust (some under the vinyl roof however). The interior needs to be cleaned and gone over due to sitting in storage. At one time, the rear window looks like it had leaked. Mechanically, the car has not been started or driven since put in storage many years ago. The loss of the ignition key over the years has presently kept the car from being properly gone over and to be brought back up to running condition since pulled out of storage. Under the hood is clean and in good condition. Trunk area is clean with some typical rust under the carpet. Floors and frame appear to be clean and solid. Original rally wheels are in average condition with older tires in good condition. The dual exhaust is missing from the muffler back on the passenger side. The exterior chrome and stainless are in average condition. Overall the car has had attention and intentions to be kept in good condition, now just requiring the effort of being gone over thoroughly.
