It was Hurst/Campbell Corporation where it all started.. This is the original HURST Pontiac Bonneville Station Wagon purchased by George Hurst and Bill Campbell in the early revolutionary days where Brands were born and Performance products got their start.. Well,, it is 46 years later and this time piece is still very much in it's original condition and a running, driving survivor.. Hurst made such a statement with this functional vehicle they made special arrangement with GM and Pontiac to provide their own ''Tiger Gold'' paint and ordered it with over 32 +- options, all documented by PHS and other documentation. By far one of the most optioned car ordered of the era and a fantastic statement was made.. Wearing it's painted Hurst badge on the side Hurst Corporation was driving down the road to over 40 years of un-surpassed success and still a fantastic Icon of today's automobiles, classic and current.. As the early years were successful Bill Campbell and George Hurst had a partingways and Hurst continued to the thriving company we all see and use today.. It is said, as a part of the partnership separation the Bonneville Wagon went with Mr. Bill Campbell where it still wears the family name.. Also, one of the early prototype famous and lasting His/Her Shifter still remains on the floor console operating perfectly.. A test of time and a statement only one person can have, and that is the automobile that has carved a cornerstone in time as this Bonneville Station Wagon..
