Vehicle Detail
This is for a nice 1930 Model A Standard Coupe. Has rear spare, rumble seat, and winged moto meter. This car was found in a barn where it sat for several years. Last registered in Texas in 1989. All that has been done to the car since it was found was wash off the dust and remove several mud dobber nests. The car runs and drives although there is an exhaust leak at the manifold connection and the 1st and 2nd gear has some noise, 3rd is nice and quiet. This must be a late 1930 as it has the 31 dash. Started right up after adding gas and cleaning the points. It will take a bit of driving as the brakes have probably got rust on the drums. I have driven it around and the brakes keep getting better the farther I drive it. This car was restored in the 70's and the paint has not done too well over the years in storage. It looks good from about 10 feet away, but really needs either a new paint job or total re-restoration to be 100%. It is a driver as is with a little TLC. Lights work but a couple bulbs are out and the HORN WORKS! Front cowl interior panels are there but not included in the pictures. Had two new tires put on before being put into storage and all tires are in great condition. All glass is good but for the windshield which has a crack in it from the changing of temperature. It could use a new accelerator linkage as the original sticks a bit. No dents at all. Still has the original 6v system that charges a brand new heavy duty battery. No leaks in the cooling system that has a really great radiator and a 4 blade fan for improved cooling. It has original hydraulic shock absorbers with dog bone shock links. Wire wheels are original and in great conditon with no spoke damage. Seats are in great conditon and have a naugahyde type covering with only a tiny puncture hole from possibly a screw driver left in the pocket on the pass. side. The tin under the drivers seat would have to be replaced as it was partially cut out for some reason. All in all, a nice sound car and a real eye catcher. Shipping is either local pickup or will help in loading on your auto carrier. Car being sold as-is-where-is with no warranty. Starts right up and has a clear title. Thanks for the peep.
