Vehicle Detail
THIS CAR IS BEING RELISTED DUE TO A SCAM ARTIST.IF YOU ARE NEW TO EBAY OR HAVE A ZERO OR LESS FEEDBACK, YOU MUST CONTACT ME PRIOR TO BIDDING. I HAVE NO PROBLEM ALLOWING SOMEONE TO BID WHO IS A NEW BIDDER OR WHO HAS A ZERO FEEDBACK SCORE (I'M NEW HERE AS WELL AND HAVE A ZERO FEEDBACK, FOR NOW). DUE TO THE LAST EXPERIENCE HERE WITH THIS CAR, IT'S NOT FAIR FOR LEGITIMATE BIDDERS TO HAVE A SCAM ARTIST RUIN IT FOR EVERYONE ELSE & I DON'T WANT TO WASTE MY TIME WITH SOMEONE NOT LEGIT. What I have is a restorable 1960 El Camino complete with Texas title. It is a good solid car for the most part. Good solid front fenders, solid rockers, solid straight hood, solid straight doors with no rust-out underneath, solid straight tailgate, good un-cracked rear glass, (it has a windshield in it that is cracked but useable to drive around), solid complete dash with gauges and original radio, seat, good solid bumpers. The trim has been removed by the previous owner to start body prepping but appears to be 99% there. It is a 6 cylinder car with standard transmission. The engine turns over freely. It probably wouldn't take alot to get it running to be a driveable car while you're restoring it. Now the things that would need repair: A section of the floor pans would have to be replaced (they have had them recently on Ebay for about $99 per side). The center transmission tunnel hump is solid. It also needs a floor in the bed, or at least on the driver's side, as well as the rear floor underneath the package tray. With the aforementioned areas needing attention in mind, this is a very solid car worthy of a restoration. The portions of the car that typically are expected problem areas are solid: lower front fenders, front underside of hood, lower door shells, rockers, lower underside of tailgate. The tailgate and the doors are straight and shut solidly. It will need repair in the typical expected area around the rear wheel wells, floor pans, the floor area under the package tray and the bed. Again, a very solid car with a good starting point to restore. Whoever buys this car will be beginning their restoration farther down the road than others that I've seen. It's better than some that are out there that I have seen that are being offered at more money. Some of them have no drive train and are rust-buckets compared to this one. I do have the seat, but it wasn't in the same location as this car to get pics. It has a frame and springs to begin with, but the material that is on it will need to be redone. The tires on the car are up allowing it to easily be winched onto a trailer. I can assist with loading and also have a dependable, reputable transporter based locally to deliver nationwide or to deliver to a seaport to transport internationally. Let me know if there is anything else that you need. If you have any questions, shoot me your e-mail and I'll e-mail you or number & I'll give you a call. I'll be happy to discuss anything about the car and answer any questions you may have. I have a lot of pics that I can send if interested. Thanks for looking and happy bidding!
