A Classic 1974 Volvo 164E with Rare Optional Sunroof This classic Volvo was found in southwest Virginia by me a few weeks ago, I could not resist the sunroof and the fact that the car runs. I have doted on the car for a few weeks, getting it running smoother and to the point of taking it on a little cruise around the farm roads. The B30F starts and runs ok not smoke and doesn't leak on the floor where it has been parked, the transmission shifts ok but it may delay engaging drive occasionally - I recommend a service on it which should correct this issue. The overall body condition is good for the age although it really shines after I polished and waxed it! There are minor spots here and there on the underside but nothing major, the car is really free of any visible areas of rust - another plus, please see photos - I have loads more to just ask me for them. The interior is typical of a car not garaged as the seats are dried and split, the dash pad is split and the door pockets are sagging. All in all the interior is complete, even has a set of factory rubber floor mats at all four positions. The tachometer works, the speedo and odometer work as well. The car has wind up windows and the hand cranked sunroof. The wheels are in good condition although a two hub caps are missing, see photos of wheels for details. There is some loose trim on the body which require some new clips. There are two broken/missing lenses and the fan switch is broken off. Overall, this is a good restorable 1974 164E, or with a little attention paid to a few areas it could be used as is in the condition today. The title says mileage is not actual but the odometer appears original and works. Bid carefully and ask questions, the photos tell a lot of the story as well.
