LAND ROVER SERIES III 1979 88" 2286cc PETROL - 18,400 miles. Super-nice example of a Series III. Bulkhead and Chassis all sound. All electrics good, brand new battery fitted. Replaced engine (in August 2010) for 5 bearing 4 cylinder 2286cc Petrol from a donor vehicle (it was from an Airport Recovery Vehicle never used on road and with only 11,000 miles on clock) - 18,400 miles is current vehicle clock reading. Mountney aftermarket steering wheel. 2 X sets of keys (all locks work) New petrol tank also fitted. Soundproofing on cab floor. Many new parts, compression test shows 150psi on all cyls. Gears and transmission all good no knocks or bumps. No drips. 4x4 works great as does hi-lo ratios.
