1982 Porsche 911 SC Targa Turbo-look THE CAR: 1982 Porsche 911 Targa. Black with tan leather interior. 79,820 original miles. "Whale tail" (930-stylerear wing/spoiler), Porsche 996 alloys, Bilstein shocks, stereo. Just out of 15 year storage. Missing engine, transmission, targa top, steering rack, and possibly other parts...what is shown in the images is included and is all that's included. Driver's side front quarter window missing; I cut a piece of plexiglass and fit it there to keep rain out. This 911 is very original and is ready for restoration or would make an amazing parts car (good money-maker if you want to part it out!). Floorpans are pretty solid (see photo of underside). The primary rusted areas are: around the battery box (battery should have had battery removed prior to storage but wasn't), in the front fenders, and rocker panels. Paint is all original except for the hood, gas cap flap, and targa bar, all of which I rattle-can-painted temporarily to better preserve the metal. Rear seats are good, front seats are a bit dirty, dry, and have some cracking/split seams, but are still usable as they are. Carpet is dirty but may clean up. Glass is good (except for needing the remaining bad tint job peeled off). Wheels and tires are in great shape but they don't have center caps. Title is in the previous owner's name, signed over to someone else (not me); you may or may not be able to use this title as is or you might have to explore other avenues (contacting a previous owner, applying for a new title, etc.). Otherwise, buyers will be responsible for shipping costs, and items will be shipped via United States Postal Service within one or two days once payment is received. Packaging, handling, crating, and other "fees" are NEVER charged for normal, easily-shipped items. Happy to combine items in a single package (where possible) to lower shipping costs for you. Engines, transmissions, windshields/glass, body panels, bumpers, seats, and other large items will be pick-up ONLY, but there are companies out there (such as UShip.com, for example, where we are also registered under the same username) that may be able to help you out with getting large items delivered. We are willing to work with you should you need to hire such a carrier (scheduling, meeting, helping load, etc.) but all such arrangements are solely the buyer's (your) responsibility.
