This is a 1988 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Roayle 4 door car that I purchased a few months ago. I drove it everyday and then my niece needed a car and I sold it to her. She took it to my mechanic and he informed her that even though it ran very nice when he had it in the air he noticed that the engine cradle part of it was coming loose from the body but was still intact. This he said was due to excessive rust on the part of the body where the bolts from the cradle go into the car body. He told her he could not fix it and that he would recommend her only drive it around town and don't get it up to high speeds. So I refunded her money to her and took back ownership of this car. The only other issue is the emergency brake was defective so the mechanic removed it. That being said this car is being sold either for parts or if you are a good body man or into welding maybe you can find a way to fix it. It has the 3800 V6 motor in it which is strong and only has 110,000 miles on it. The transmission is good, its has ice cold air, decent tires and only minor rust on the body. I love old cars like this and wanted to fix it up but now I don't think in my situation its going to be possible. The interior is as nice as I've seen for the year the dash doesn't have a crack in it and the seats are immaculate. The radio works but the cassette player does not. If you are picking this up you might want to bring a trailer unless your not driving it too far. It is a shame that I have to let it go but here it is with no reserve. Driver side door does not open with key must be opened by passenger door. Cat converter is present, muffler is newer, starter is brand new, have not noticed oil burning, no leaks, paint is peeling on hood, original wire wheels, original owners manual, hood ornament present,no starting issues, good battery.On Sep-30-12 at 17:16:45 PDT, seller added the following information:Added note: This car has been hit on the drivers side but the damage was very minor. The door opens and closes and the window goes up and down. The door does not open with a key, it has to be opened from the passenger side. Thanks
