Re-listed! The site wouldn't allow me to place new pictures of the fresh paint so I had to pull the listing. Sorry for any inconvenience. Up for Auction is my 1969 Camaro, nearly completed project. I am currently working to complete the car. This car has been an Arizona car since March/1969, No rust anywhere! Also, less than 37,000 original BOX A miles per the previous owner and the clear Arizona title. I was building this car to keep. Unfortunately, the loss of my wife to cancer and now my daughters Doctor bills require it's sell. Drive train is a running (built) 454 with aluminum heads and headers, 4 barrel Holley carb. 3 speed automatic Turbo 400, battery relocated to the trunk. I have invested a lot in new parts: New power front disc brakes, New 3" core aluminum radiator with electric fan. New chrome bumpers and tail lights. Complete new interior: carpet, door panels, door pads, correct seat covers,new rear view mirror, New front windshield. 4 new BFG tires on vintage aluminum rims. New/ replaced sheet metal: 2" raised hood,(Stock original flat hood included.) driver side fender, rear tail light panel. New door shims and new boddy rubber make this a very tight great driving car. Original head liner is in perfect shape. I am very happy with how the paint turned out. Although not show quality paint, you have to search hard up close for most of the imperfections. Mostly particles in the clear coat, they can be wet sanded and buffed out. Painted Cortez Silver with Black Super Sport stripes, PPG paint with the best quality clear coat! So the car will come to you with fresh paint. Photos of completed body work, very light skim coat only.The body work photo's were prior to being painted white primer. New uninstalled parts included: front and rear bumpers, tail lights, side markers, door sills, 427 SS Badging! Photos of NEW parts included. I am currently installing all parts to complete the car. Extra parts will be included in the sale if you want them. Although a very nice car, it is 43 year old vehicle. As such it is offered in AS-IS condition. In 1969 Chevy did not offer the 454 that is in this car in 1969. This is not a matching numbers vehicle nor is it a true Super Sport. At conclusion of auction a $2,000 non refundable deposit thru Pay Pal will be required. On Sep-23-12 at 10:31:20 PDT, seller added the following information: Interior is almost all new, new door panels,new carpet, new seat covers,new rear view mirror, new dome light, 2 sets of new safety belts. The headliner is original and in great condition. The dash has a cap, I didn't install. Looks good from inside car but thru the windshield doesn't look great. sun visors are not new but in good condition. Gauges all work but the plastic covering them isn't great, foggy. After market steering wheel, horn works but not connected.
