I am selling my 1987 Honda Super Magna Motorcycle. It has 25,499 miles on it. I have owned it for 5 years this fall. It ran fine when I bought it; and started fine the following spring (needed the choke on a bit); however after sitting another winter with the same gas in it (10% ethynol) it woldn't even start the spring of 2009. So I am sure now the carbs need to be gone through since it has been sitting in the garage since my son was born (3 years) and now has really old gas in it. I did fog the cylinders on it in the fall of 2008. It has a brand new rear tire. It has a Travelcade seat with a nice backrest for a passenger. This style ("Super" Magna) was only made for two years (87 and 88). It'll need a new battery. It was laid down lightly on the left side by the previous owner. There is a little damage to the exhaust on that side as well as the speedometer housing is cracked. The paint looks descent, but has some scratches; especially on the tank where the brake cables and electrical wires (that attach to the handle bars) rub on it. My plan was to eventually have it repainted if I was to keep it. I have another child on the way in December and need the room in my garage! This will make someone a great bike with a little bit of elbow grease...it seemed to be a really quick bike...a lot faster than I expected. I can meet most times during the day for viewing / picking it up. I prefer not to ship it, but buyer is more than welcome to arrange for it to be shiped and is responsible for all shipping costs. My work schedule is flexible and I can meet with a carrier for pick up almost anytime during the day. 20% down is due within 5 days of auction close, and bike must be picked up within 2 weeks (am a bit flexible, but please ask prior to bidding).
