THIS VEHICLE IS BEING RE-LISTED DUE TO THE PREVIOUS BUYER NOT HAVING THE FUNDS TO PURCHASE THE VEHICLE. THIS IS A NO-RESERVE AUCTION. IF YOU BID ON IT AND ARE THE HIGH BIDDER THEN YOU WILL OWN IT...... 1971 VW Super Beetle convertible. The engine runs great and is my daily driver and only driver at the moment! It was gone through by an air-cooled mechanic when I got it in March. The body is solid, but could use a new paint job. It is a 10 footer (looks good from 10 feet away)! It has been painted within the year, but it was not a pro job and the paint is starting to peel around the gas cap area. It has a new stereo, but will need a new speaker because the original speaker that is still in it couldn't hold the power from the new stereo. It has a new top, headliner, carpet, seat belts (front and back), brakes, battery, etc. She marks her territory with a few oil spots here and there (nothing major.... what 40 year old beetle does not do this). The rear window regulators had regulators installed, but need the chrome piece at the bottom of the windows in order to attach the regulators. It needs a new horn and will soon need new tires, other than that, as far as I know, everything is groovy! I just went through a divorce, I kept the "cool" car and the kids, (I got the better end of the deal)! He kept everything else.... nuff said about that. The kids cant handle a car without AC and when I put the top down they get sunburned so I have to let her go and sadly get a "mom-mobile" that I can fit a stroller, two car seats, and groceries in at the same time! You are welcome to inspect it, drive it, bring your mechanic, friend, spouse, priest prior to bidding. If you are the high bidder you will own it for the price that you bid. I will not make any allowances after the fact. I am taking this auction seriously and HAVE to sell her hence the more than fair starting price. Don't waste my time and I wont waste yours.
