Vehicle Detail
Last year we got a call from a good friend who asked if we would come over to check out a woody wagon his exboss found as he knew we restored Model A Fords for 12 years. We went over and found a great original 1929 (past owner stated his dad was the second owner) Ford Model A Woody wagon in for the most part untouched original shape that was stored away for years and years. We spent a good amount of time getting it running by way of a jump wire to the ignition and I stated to him at that time it need a new ignition switch. He drove the wagon up and down the street at least 4 times last year with intentions of restoring it some day. The wagon went into storage last fall and was back out a couple weeks ago where he drove it to a little car show where it was the talk of the show. At the time I went over to get it running I stated if he ever wanted to sell it please let me know as that was one body style I never owned. Well things in his life have changed and I was contacted the other day and bought the woody. The jumper wire is still in tact (i have ordered and will install a new ignition switch befor it sells). I have currently over 35 muscle car projects and have decided to sell the woody due to inside space being limited. I will only list this once and its not a give-a-way as these Woodys are very very rare (the 12 years we restored we owned every model of Model A built except the woody station wagon). The wagon is complete (includeing the rear third seat) running and driveing. Look at the pictures, ask questions AND DON'T SEND ME EMAILS ABOUT YOUR OPINION ON WHAT IT IS OR ISN'T BECAUSE THEIR ARE NO EXPERTS OUT THEIR ON A MODEL A SINCE HENRY FORD DIED ........ I will not say what the reserve is on this one but for a good offer I will add a Buy Now for those who are serious and don't want to wait the seven days..... For questions please call me at 603-942-6118, have a nice day.....On Sep-19-12 at 09:28:18 PDT, seller added the following information: If you run the motor number you will find it is the original motor built in June of 1929. On Sep-19-12 at 16:51:06 PDT, seller added the following information: A few more updates, the date that is stamped on the cowl is 6 7 29 matching the motor and did find the Murray tag on the inside passenger side of the seat riser with the numbers M250-3389. Plus if you noticed it still has its original curtain pan underneith the back end. Again have a nice day.On Sep-24-12 at 01:25:19 PDT, seller added the following information: To all 185 current watchers, we lowered the reserve by almost $1000.00 and it is currently close to hitting it. Don't miss out on this rare Ford Model A barn fresh piece, their are not many left to come out of the wood work.
