Looking for a great new home… After successfully selling my 1973 BMW 2002 on eBay (Thank you George in GA) I have decided to sell my Lotus to make room for a new addition to the collection! I am in the classic car business and this is my personal car. I purchased this Lotus in February of this year from my boss who was the first owner. He purchased it new at Star Motor Cars of Houston, TX. The car is loaded and has lots of extras, hard top ($1,450), Touring Package, PW Windows, Leather, Cargo Net, Metallic paint, Cold Air Intake, and upgraded exhaust. It comes with the CARFAX report, Books/Manuals and two keys. The car has been lovingly maintained and has very low mileage. It has known ownership history from new and has never had any accidents or damage. There are two known flaws. When I purchased the car the power locks were not working, I took it to a shop and they repaired it but now I have to lock and unlock the car with the key. The fab is not unlocking and locking the doors, it didn’t bother me much so I’ve left it alone. The second flaw that one of the front grills on front bumper had a crack, I removed it and have not replaced it. Everything else is in good order. The A/C blows cold, and the car handles and drives amazing. I have only seen one other Nightfall Blue car on the road, it’s my favorite color. If you have never driven a Lotus Elise you are missing out. This is by far the most enjoyable car to drive that I have ever had. The exhaust has such a good rumble especially on downshift and the car handles excellent. The car is stored at my home and I welcome and encourage inspections.
