Vehicle Detail
I have for sale a 1966 Honda CA77 Dream. I picked this up recently from the previous owner who had the bike for approx. 25 years. I changed the oil, gapped the points, set the timing and took it for a spin. It drives well and is one of the nicest shifting Dreams I have driven. I also installed a new battery as well as new Firestone tires, tubes and rim strips. It does not burn or leak any oil. I believe it to be 100% complete with the exception of the air cleaner and tool tray. The exhaust is aftermarket and has some rust but is solid with no holes. The headlight, taillight, brakelight, horn and electric start all work. Kicker works as well. The inside of the fuel tank is very clean with a few spots of surface rust but very solid. The tank badges are NOS Honda. The front brake cable is shot but I have a new one on order and it will be installed before the auction ends. The speedo works well. The seat still has the original seat cover. The front wheel is fairly nice with a few spots where rust is bubbling up but overall a nice rim. The rear is pitted but will work for a driver. The rear fender has a approx. 1" crack on the left side. The right side cover has a dent in the middle. This is not a show bike but instead a nice driver. It is not perfect and has patina from being used over the last 46 years. I do not have a title for this bike but I do have the paperwork necessary to get one through the Wisconsin DMV using a surety bond. I have done this six times and have received a title all six times. If you don't want to mess with the paperwork, I can title it in my name and then sign the title over to you but you must pay for me to do this($200). If you are concerned that you will not be able to get a title, I will buy the bike back if you are unable to get a title through the WI DMV. That is how confident I am. I picked rebuilt for title because I had to pick something for that catagory. This is a nice looking and riding bike that is looking for a new owner. They don't make them like this anymore. Don't miss your chance to get a piece of motorcycling history. Please ask if you have a question. Good luck!
