My 1999 mercury cougar is just waiting for a new owner wanting to give it some TLC. This car is in need of a good mechanic. I've had the car for about 6 months. It's been a reliable work car and was running good. It recently started making engine noises and the check engine light came on. The noises started to get worse until it stopped running for a few days. After letting it sit for a few days it started up and was driven but the noise was still pretty bad. I will not lie, it may need major work, or it may be a minor fix. I am no mechanic and I don't wanna put the money into it. I have just bought a new car and have no need for this one anymore. This has low miles and was a one owner. So I can make the assumption that it may just need a good mechanic who knows what he's doing. Someone to get it up and running and then you will have a nice used car at really no cost. It can also be bought for parts. The interior is still in good condition except for a rip in the driver side seat that is pictured below. And a few other scrapes and bruises. It is an older car and does have some wear and tear. But nothing major. If you you'd like additional pictures of a specific part of the car please let me know. I paid alot more for this car used but just want it to go to someone who can use it.
