1968 AMC Javelin SST. This car is an ideal start for a restoration. I have been unable to locate any significant rust on this vehicle. It is a factory 290/auto car. The Borg and Warner auto was in the trunk of the car when I purchased it. I am unsure of it's condition. I never started the 290, but it turns over. Car is complete minus the factory AC unit (I have a rebuilt unit that will go with car, but it is not original) The console, front buckets and grill are from a later model Javelin. I have owned this car for a number of years and have acquired a lot of NOS and aftermarket parts in preparation for restoration. I have a late model used AMC 360 that I was told only had a couple thousand miles on it. I also purchased an AMC 727 that I was going to pair it with. The transmission needs rebuilt. A couple of years ago I disassembled the car and stripped the paint. Body was shot with primer and I then lost my shop space. Car has been sitting in covered storage ever since. It pains me to have this car just sitting. It needs to be restored and almost everything is there to do it. Car is located in Central Washington State. Car is NOT driveable and will need to be shipped/towed. Buyer will be responsible for shipping/towing. Car is sold as is. I will accept cash at pickup or cashier's check. If payed by Cashier's check car will be held until check legitimacy can be verified. A deposit of $500 will be required within 5 days of auction ending.
