This Jeep is in excellent condition. The original paint shines without any oxidation present. This Jeep is all stock aside from the carpet, seats, and Kenwood CD player. Finding a low mileage, stock CJ in this condition is rare. Great for Beach trips, camping, the desert, a collector and 4 Wheel drive for Off Roading. Has a 258 Inline 6 cylinder original motor, 4 speed manual transmission, a Dana 300 transfer case, Model 20 rear and Dana 30 front differential. Original wheels have been professionally powder-coated. Has BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A’s tires and even a brand new one for the spare. All of the fluids and lubricants throughout the Jeep have been serviced. This Jeep runs great with exceptional power. All the instruments work properly. All of the original emissions equipment is present, this vehicle passes California emissions every time and is currently registered until March of 3013. I have the clear title in hand. This Jeep comes with a soft top, a bikini top, and soft doors. The only thing I really ever used was the bikini top. Notable items: The right front fender has a dent as shown in the front view photo. This is the only area on the entire body with a dent. There is not any rust present. The dent could potentially be worked out and spot finished but it didn’t take away from is amazing vintage look so I just left it alone. The original owner was a Californian central valley farmer who added a hitch to the Jeep. The hitch was welded to the rear frame with steel plated reinforcements and a cross member under the fuel tank. Jeeps R Us in Laguna Beach, CA removed the hitch. The steel plates on the frame interior and exterior have been cleaned up yet remains. The strength of the frame has not been compromised, it actually is improved. I bought the Jeep from the second owner in October of 2009 and have put 1000 miles on it, in 3 years, just going to the beach and back. I just haven’t used it that often and am ready to look for another toy. The Jeep is stored in my garage in Los Alamitos CA. If you would like to take it for a drive let me know. Weekends, nights, and Monday are possibilities.
