Vehicle Detail
Up for your consideration is a 1971 Chevrolet C-10 Short wide box 2 wheel drive pickup. This truck was a complete restoration 6 years ago and has been driven little since. It was just a class winner at Hot August Nights Lewiston for stock - restored - 1961 to 1980 pickup truck ! The truck is stick straight and 99% rust free (only 1 small spot pictured, possible moisture in sealer) . The paint is show quality and almost glows in the sunlight. The motor is a 350 with an Edelbrock intake and carb, Comp cams 262, and Hedman headers. It starts easily, sounds great, and runs awesome. Transmission is a turbo-350 with a Transgo TOW-N-GO mild shift kit for a nice firm shift without being harsh. The rear-end is the factory 12 bolt with 3:73-1 ratio. This truck came factory with power steering and power disc front brakes. The motors is painted body color and dressed with chrome covers and air cleaner. The inner fenders and core support have been painted and cleared for ease of clean-up. Inside the cab is stock with new door panels, seat cover, headliner and dash pad. The carpet is in good shape as is the dash surround and steering wheel (a few cracks but very nice). This is a factory gauge package truck. All of the lights, gauges, turn signals, etc... work as they should (horn inop). The fuel tank has been relocated to the back of the truck and fuel filler has been professionally installed in the left rear wheelhouse. The metal bed has been Rhino-lined and is kept clean by a Tonneau cover that snaps to it's own clamp-down frame and can be removed without any holes in bed or bedrails. The wheels are original rallyes with BF Goodrich T/A radials mounted on them. The bumpers were replaced as well as all of the outside brite-trim. All for the glass is excellent. The truck has been lowered by removing 1 3/4 coils from the front springs and 3" blocks in the rear. It was re-aligned and drives great! I have mirrors under the truck to show it is nice underneath as well. It has been driven but is still very clean. This is a no-issue, clean, show winning truck that can be driven anywhere and attracts attention wherever it goes! Serious bidders please feel free to call with any questions you may have. I am happy to help any way possible. I can be reached at 1-208-746-7040 Mon-Fri 9:00-6:00pst and Sat 9:00-12:00pst. If you have negative (-) or zero (o) feedback please contact me prior to bidding or I may choose not to accept your bid. The truck will sell to the high bidder without exception once reserve is met (reserve will not be disclosed). The truck is on my showroom and can be seen any time. Thank you for looking and good luck with the auction!
