Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Up for auction is my 2003 Ford F-150 Super Crew XLT 4X4. I bought this great truck brand new in 2003 and I have taken good care of it with regular maintenance. The tires are Bridgestone Dueler A/T All Terrain Tires size P265/70 R 17 113S installed by Costco at 133448 Miles on 10/25/2010. I installed a new battery a few months ago and an aftermarket stereo so I can use MP3 CDS, and also connect to an IPOD via the cable in the glove box (Sorry I don’t have the original radio). Overall it is a pretty clean vehicle. The upholstery is in good condition and there are no tears or serious stains, smoking has never been allowed in the vehicle. The carpet and upholstery need cleaning but should look great once given some TLC. I will mention that my two bull dogs have ridden in the truck so you may find an occasional short dog hair here and there (I only mention this because I know some people are allergic to dogs) there are no unusual odors in the vehicle. Overall the paint and body is in very good condition with the usual pings, dings, and scratches from driving the truck for nine years. There is a spot of rust developing under the paint on the driver side door – see picture. I can’t see any other problems as far as corrosion. The air conditioner does not blow cold air – it may just need recharging but I don’t have the time or interest to get it fixed. I did try putting a bottle of the 134A refrigerant in it and it seemed cooler for awhile but I would plan on getting professional attention to the AC and bid accordingly – the blower works well and heater is fine. I installed the K&N air filter and power stop brake rotors with the yellow stuff brake pads and a new battery. The 4X4 works as it should and is electric so no getting out of the cab to lock the hubs is required. It has a current VA State inspection good until January 2013 and VA State smog was completed 8/31/2011 (good for 2 years in VA) I have never had any problems with this truck with the exception of replacing a passenger side manifold gasket about three years ago. I am selling this truck because I can get a better deal on a new one with cash in hand than if I traded it in. I’m moving up to a F250 for my next new truck. Anyway, the truck is available locally for $8100 OBO so auction may end early if I sell it offline. I am not listing a buy it now price but if I did it would be $7900 which is a fair price considering that this is one of the most sought after 4X4 Ford trucks for Ford off-roading fans. There is No reserve and the starting bid is just 99 cents – Highest bidder at auction close wins – UNLESS SOLD LOCALLY FIRST! I have bought and sold a few vehicles here on EBay with generally good experiences but I have also dealt with d bags that did not pay or tried to renegotiate the price when they came to pick up the vehicle. Don’t be a d bag – If you do not intend to own this vehicle and pick it up with cash in hand do not bid. Non paying bidders will be reported to ebay. I am a retired Marine and I have a low tolerance for shenanigans. No discounts for relatives, friends, friends of friends, former military of any branch, and save sob stories for the U work you drive dealers - I aint that guy! Your bid is the price you pay - no more and no less. In fact to show I am such a nice guy I will fill the truck up with a full tank of gas if the winning bid goes over $6500.00 My feedback speaks for itself so bid with confidence - I use my real name for my Ebay, expect to show ID and sign a bill of sale when you show up with your cash in hand. Paypal PAYMENT of $500.00 is expected within 48 hours of winning bid - if there is a problem - email me - don't be a DB, if you don't pick up the truck according to the terms listed in this ad don't expect your $500 paypal money back - EBay only allows the paypal within 2 days of close so you get that grace. But after hour 48 if you have not paid the deposit and made arrangements to pick up this truck then expect to hear from ebay via their non paying bidder system. If you want more photos or details or would like to arrange a test drive of the vehicle please email me before the last 24 hour of the auction. Vehicle is located in the Fredericksburg (Hartwood off of Rt 17) VA area (Zip 22406) I reserve the right to sell to the next highest bidder via second chance if the winning bidder does not follow the terms of this sale. If you want to fly in and drive it home, I will meet you at either Richmond Intl, Dulles, or Reagan National Airports - just let me know, I know airplane tickets are cheaper if bought 2 weeks out. Communications is the key here bidders... Very last thing - the mileage may be a couple of hundred miles higher when you pick the vehicle up - this truck gets driven. If I made any mistakes in the listing they are unintentional. Ask your questions before spending your money. Thanks for looking and happy bidding. Semper Fi!
