For your consideration is a 1990 GMC Chevy Chevrolet 3/4 ton V2500 Suburban SLX. This truck looks good and runs/drives great. It is equipped with the heavy duty manual transmission with granny low SM465. It is also equipped with the great low range NP241 heavy duty tansfer case. Combined with granny low this truck has a 61:1 crawl ratio which is unbelievable for a factory equipped truck. The truck has the vinyl wash out interior and manual non-power locks and windows. It still has the factor am/fm radio which works fine. Dash has NOT been cut! The truck has front and rear AC and a newer R134 compressor, however, it is not currently blowing cold and needs a charge. Gearing is 3.42:1 in both axles. 4x4 works excellent. I just replaced the clutch slave cylinder last week. Tires are 235/85/16 load range E Michelins (big $$$) and have 95+% tread but are dry. They're not dry enough to make me want to change them but you may. Interior is in overall great shape. The body is in average condition. It appears to have a not so great re paint in its past. There are dents in the passenger rear panel and passenger front door. The hood also has various dings from plenty of "chevy pounds" throughout the years to make the hood pop open.... although it has opened every time for me without issue. Motor is a TBI fuel injected small block with serpentine belt that runs excellent. Transmission shifts smooth every time and never grinds or pops out of any gear. Mechanically, this truck cannot be beat and is going to be VERY hard to find. I would drive it to New York in a second and would not think twice. 176k original miles. It doesnt leak a drop of any fluid. Wing window seals are great and when all of the windows are rolled up you can actually talk to the person sitting next to you without shouting (if youve ever owned a square Chevy you know what i mean hahaha). This truck will seat 9 ! (third row incluced--see pics) and has the desirable barn doors. Clear title in hand and also has current California registration until 2013. Pluses: -Fuel injected TBI small block with desireable serpentine belt. -SM465/NP241 transmission/t-case combo is VERY tough, geared great, and has a hydraulic clutch. -3.42 axle gears allow 75+ mph freeway cruising and also plenty of grunt down load when needed. -Brand new 4" lift kit just installed. -Flowmaster 3 chamber 3" catback exhuast sounds great but is very quiet and not intrusive at all. -Excellent interior..no rips or tears anywhere. Headliner does NOT sag. All locks work as they should. -All glass is very clear and scratch/crack free. This truck actually cleans up pretty nice. -Factory skid plate/off road package. -8600 lb gvwr -Factory engine oil cooler. -Factory 105 amp alternator. -Barn doors! Minuses: -Oil psi and water temp gauges work intermittently. All other gauges work fine (fuel, speedo, volts) -Dents mentioned above. -AC needs charge. -Interior light not working.
