Catalina's are known as the GTO's big brother. I planed on restoring the car myself but I'm moving soon and must sell and can't take it with me. I bought it from the original owner over two years ago. This is a all numbers matching car. Frame is straight and clean, never bent or hit.The car is registered and on the road now. The car has a New York State registration that is transferable. I also have the original NJ state title is his name and original Bill of sale from the dealership where he bought it. The odometer reads under 48,000 mile and is believed to be true. I've owned a few classic cars, with a hand full of classic Pontiac's, and I have to say this is probably the best driving one I've owned. Last summer I had new upper and lower control arms put on, a new exhaust, new shocks, new springs, new battery and new grant wood steering wheel(all work done back to original for pontiac restoration sources). Then put it back in the garage. All new parts installed about 200-300miles ago. Clean all original car, 100% turn key drive anywhere. Runs like it did when it left the factory. .Dash had a crack in it. Headliner only has one tiny tear in it about an inch long, Front seat has a split on the upper drivers side, see picture. Back seat has no rips or tears. Carpet has only one small hole by the high beam switch, and is not all dried out.All glass is in great shape, metal and chrome are not bad. Tube radio still works, along with the speakers. As of right now the passenger door won't unlock and open, it works from time to time(easy fix). Body is very straight. Only has a little rust on the rear quarters with some filler the original owner put over it. Passengers front fender has small dent with filler in it. Drivers side front fender has small dent on it with no filler. Both front fenders have a little rust on the bottom by the door with a little filler and paint over. Filler and paint work was done by the original owner years ago. Please see the close up pictures. Trunk also has a small hole in the truck where the passenger wheel well meets the trunk floor. Car is 100% mechanically sound. I am only selling because I am moving across country. All are welcome to come and see the car before bidding.
