Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is my latest project, an Arizona convertible with minimal rust. The only rust on the car is in the floor pans from the top leaking over time. The rear quarters have been replaced it seems, and there is small rust damage on the trunk drop offs. This car is a repaint of a close to original color, and the body is rather straight and solid. The weatherstripping was not replaced in the door areas when it was repainted. This work was done by the previous owner. The interior is farely complete mins the radio, and rear quarter trim panels. The carpet is faded, and the seats were cover in white upholstery, instead of black. The top is a top quality reproduction cloth top with a plastic window, not the glass that came from the factory. The top is in good shape, but the windlace has cracked where the top folds. The top has no tears or rips, and works great. Mechanically the car is not running. When I purchased the car, it was running, but poorly. I replaced the intake and carb, as my mechanic identified that as the problem. I have not had it running since the intake and carb were installed. I removed the distributor to install the intake and i am unsure if the timing is corrrect now that it is installed. I am just tired of working on the car, and have lost interest. I am selling the car because I have been working too much to enjoy the car this year. I was hoping to take the car on the Hot Rod Power Tour this year, but I could not take the time off work, and the car was not running at that time. My wife and I cannot enjoy the car together because of surgery last year for brain cancer. Her surgeon advises against having a car without a hard roof in case of pop up hail storms. If she were hit by hail, it could cause severe trauma for the next few years following surgery. I want to buy a car that I do not need to work on to drive, and that will be safe for my wife. This vehicle is for sale as is, where is. I require a non refundable deposit of $500 via paypal. I will not sell to a foreign buyer. I will not arrange shipping for the car. I reserve the right to reject any and all bids. Please ask any questions. The car will need to be trailered. Car comes with a delux Marti report and new door jamb sticker. The grille was removed when I was working on it, and it is included, just not reinstalled. The screws are missing from the dash cover, but it is in good shape. Also included with the car are new arm rests, new gas cap, and shifter bushings for the auto shifter (common mustang problem). I also have new seat backs for the buckets. Thanks for looking!
