Vehicle Detail

Up for Bid is my 1966 Shelby GT350H Mustang Tribute Black with Gold Stripes, no expense spared! The car is clear title and currently registered, I am the 3rd owner, CA. Black Plates (restored and looks great). This is a matching #'s 289 2V "C" Code car built out of the San Jose plant "R" Code, with tasteful upgrades; a mild cam, upgraded Holley 4 Barrel, Edelbrock aluminum intake, etc. believed to be pushing around 300 HP just as the Shelby's of it's day. I went though this car from top to bottom to make this a strong driver, added an aluminum radiator, upgraded the drum brakes to front disc conversion with a brake booster, full transmission rebuild (original transmission), original style Shelby racing seatbelts, performance exhaust (done prior believe its flowmaster), painted about 50% of the car (top and entire rear section, paint looks real good, of course a few rock chips from use and only 1 spider crack on the hood, looks like it was purposely put there LOL), redid the interior (seats, headliner and paneling), dash looks good all gauges work as does the original radio, replaced upper control arms, and the list goes on. This car is spot on to the original GT350H with correct striping (actually painted, NO decal kit as seen on others!), correct magnum 500 wheels with cobra caps, hood pins with wire, correct grill, racing cobra tachometer, wood wheel with cobra center decal, dash signed by Carroll Shelby himself with COA, Shelby Hertz rental card in the glove and warranty pamphlet, correct "heavy braking" decal on dash, actual Shelby VIN plate in correct place under the hood on the drivers side and even had stamped correctly (very authentic look), correct Shelby sill plates, malibu bar, all lights work, new battery, absolutely no rust clean floors and wheel wells, heater core has been bipassed and I haven't fixed or needed it here in SF, new trunk liner, All original glass, Like I said no expense spared! After purchasing the car and going through it from head to toe I'm well into this car for nearly $40K if not more, I lost track at this point. This is not a trailer queen, but she would be no embarrassment at a local show, she is a car meant to be driven and enjoyed, plus I have an exact replica die cast from Shelby Licensing signed by Carroll Shelby as well and I will include with the sale, it's singed on the box and the top of the car itself by Shelby (as seen in pic below, very rare) and commemorative 45 year Shelby anniversary keychain...'Nuff said, Solid Shelby Tribute fastback ready for sale, have clean title in hand, I think I mentioned everything, would possibly consider trade for complete turn key B-Body Roadrunner, Cuda, Super Bee, or something comparable, but please don't waste my time with nonsense cars / project cars. This is a legally binding agreement, so please Bid only if you have the Funds, no Dreamers!!!...The vehicle is viewable upon request, thanks for your interest and Happy Bidding!!!On Sep-08-12 at 12:58:05 PDT, seller added the following information: So with the countless emails about reserve price, etc. I reluctantly decided to lower from a $30K reserve, which I felt was low to begin with considering what I have into her... to $27.5K and has already met reserve! And just to reiterate, this is not a molested or chopped up / filler'ed-up mustang, this is a very solid straight original sheet metal Fastback, I should also add the previous owner had an engine rebuilt with less than 2K miles on the rebuild though I've put another 3K miles on her, so a total of 5K on the supposed rebuild (though I don't have any docs supporting this), but my mechanic looked and supported the rebuild. With that said, Good luck!
