1957 Ford 2 door hardtop Fairlane V8 302 4bll automatic. This is a no-reserve auction. Whatever the final bid, it is the winning bid. This is a project that needs to be finished. Got this in a trade. Don’t know much about it. I’ll tell you what I do know about it. If you have any questions, please write me and I’ll try to find out more. Shows 98,000 miles. It has an amateur paint job. Looks ok. Runs good. Late model automatic transmission and engine work well. Car has good exhaust. Has power steering and power brakes. Power steering cylinder leaks. Brakes need air bled off of them. Car has an alternator and electric fuel pump in good working condition. Has good original gas tank. Solid body. Floor pans have been patched. Trunk pan has no rust, even the spare well is excellent. Back bumper has surface rust and needs to be re-chromed. Hood and trunk work good. Has original steering wheel. Hubcaps and wheels are not original. There is a bumper jack in the car – don’t know if it is original or not. Nice grille. Has working Fridge King AC. Has new glass on the sides, good used glass in front windshield and rear window. Front windshield and rear window need rubber seals. Windows roll up and down. As you can see in the trunk pictures, I have most of the parts for the interior and some window chrome including what looks like most of the windshield trim. Has the original ignition switch with the original key, but the face plate is gone. Has trunk lock and key. Has a good headliner. Otherwise, interior needs restored. I do have the back seat spring frame. Solid dash and window frames. No frame rust. Doors open and shut. Needs door locks. Looks to be a good, solid Texas car. I've driven it on the street. It is a good-running, driving old car. Car could be a driver real easily, but you will not be able to drive this home. It will have to be trailered to its new location.
