Up for "NO RESERVE" auction: Custom 2001 Volkswagon Jetta 1.8t with wide body kit, custom GTI front end, and staggard OZ Ultraleggra's. This is somewhat of an unfinished project. I'm listing this car for a friend. With low mileage the engine runs great and the transmission and clutch are in good running condition. The turbo is in great condition as well. There are adjustable coilovers on the front and stock shocks on the rear. The rear tires are strecthed 215/35/zr19's and the front tires are the same size. The tires are like new except for the right front tire, it has good tread but there is a plug near the sidewall. There are a few issues, the airbag light is on because the passanger airbag has been removed due to a custom dash intallation. The Check engine light is on (not sure why)as well as the brake light, however the brakes are in good working condition and appear to be fairly new. The paint job is brand new ($4k)and the body is very straight. The wide body kit appears to have been done professionally and is fiberglass with no seems or cracks. The interior is not the best job and, as you can see in the pictures is not finished. The seats are stock jetta seats, and as you can see the doors and headliner are done in suede two tone. Please expect to put some more work into this car, however it is very driveable as it sits. The front end is low and care has to be taken when pulling in and out of driveways. All of the electronics are in good working condition, including the kenwood C/D player. The drivers side rear window does not work, might just be the switch...........all the other windows work including the power sunroof. With some tlc this could be a great car, all of the major things have been done exterior wise. Just needs some fine tuning and finishing mechanically and interior wise.
