1962 Ford Galaxie 500XL 2 Door Hardtop Rust Free 390 4bbl. Z Code You are viewing a very nice original 1962 Ford Galaxie 500XL two door hardtop. This car is in very nice 99% rust free original condition. Car still retains mostly original paint w/ some touchups here and there, but still very presentable. Car is very straight. Has newer bumpers and the rest of the chrome still shines and has no dings. The original 390 4 bbl. 300hp motor was totally rebuilt and the engine bay is very nicely detailed. The car snaps to life with the click of the key and runs and drives beautifully, trans shifts smooth, nice car to drive. Everything on the dash seems to work correctly. The interior has new headliner and carpet. The dash & console have been restored and they look awsome, The back seats are mint and the front buckets have some small seam separations, the interior looks very nice. The car has no signs of rust and the trunk, floor pans, frame etc. are nice. Glass is all very nice. She has a brand new wheels & tires, 15X7 American Racing Torq Thrust w/ 235 60 15 BFG T/A Radials.
