Up for auction is a 1947 Ford Truck. I purchased the truck several years ago thinking that I would restore it but I have many projects and am in need of the room. I am told that the engine is a 1953 Mercury engine that was overhauled shortly prior to my ownership but I have done nothing with the vehicle and the valves are presently seized the engine will need to be torn down. The body is all steel and quite solid; it has very little rust, nothing major. The brakes worked when I parked it but have since locked up. This truck is certainly a project truck and it will need a complete restoration but it is pretty much complete except for the tail gate and some hood trim. I cannot gaurentee the miles showing on the odemeter. Note the truck does not run! The original title was lost years ago. I had the truck inspected by the state when I purchased it and the title will have to be reconstructed. The truck will be sold with a bill of sale and registration only.
