1961 Bonneville Convertible!!!! This is very obviously a project car, but also a project car that should not be all that difficult to complete. It is basically a complete car tha apparently has all the "stuff" it came from General Motors with. Four barrel carb on top of a 389 engine so I assume it is a 303 HP car. Automatic transmisssion. The body is straight, the chrome is all there but needs redoing. Most of the rust color you are looking at is surface rust that should come off with a really good sanding. There are some small rust through spots, but all in all, they are not that bad. Believe me when I say we've started with much worse. All the interior is there including the factory correct bucket seats. It did not come with a console as the shift lever is on the column. Peeled the old carpet back and the floorboards are solid with even the factory blue color still holding up. We have had this car running and as all the car dealers are proud of saying, this car will easily start and lot drive. Look closely and you will see that it has the ever popular eight lug wheels. Look closer and you will see the spare tire is also the eight lug wheel. There are a couple of rust through spots in the trunk. Quite easy to see it will have to have a convertible top, but the bows are good and straight. Power antenna but think for sure it needs replacing. Not auctioning off a new, road worthy, car here. But, if you are reading this, you have some idea what this car can be, and what this car would be worth done. Done the way you want it done.
