Vehicle Detail
OK let's try this again, nearly reached the reserve last auction pushing $20K and now I've decided to lower the reserve considerably for a quick sale! So here is my 2000 Intermeccanica Speedster, verified by Intermeccanica and will provide winning bidder of confirmation from there office. If you know about Speedster replica's, then you know it doesn't get any better then this as Intermeccanica's dimensions and overall look is spot on. You'll see these cars holding there value and the only ones doing so in the replica car builder world, selling anywhere from $30K to well over $50k+ for a reason, search "Intermeccanica". Though she was finished and registered in 2000, the body was an earlier Intermeccanica build out of the Santa Ana factory. I love Becks and Vintage (note: I have a beck spyder, which I love), but do your research and you'll quickly learn these cars are at the top of the mark for a reason! Of course clear title, no accident history, title in hand, etc. Some people say the driving experience of an Intermeccanica is quite possibly better then a 356 itself and best believe this thing handles and drives like a top! Less then 6k original miles since built back in 2000 and she has been babied the entire way. She has a balanced and blueprinted, believed to be a 2235cc motor, chromed out with an estimated 150HP+, purrs and sounds like a porsche not like your average smaller vw motor, electronic ignition (starts right up!), dual weber carbs of course, all electrical works great, new brake work done, new fuel lines and hoses, recent tune up and ready to hit the road! I have 2 tops (seen in pics below), soft top and extremely rare and hard to find hard top, which really sets it apart from the rest. Luggage rack, porsche crested nardi wood wheel, correct badging and chrome hubs as it should be! Body is great, gaps are good, no accidents, has the Intermeccanica insignia in the right places (front and rear inner bumpers) and paint is good, shines well though has more of the more vintage look with a few scratches, chips and small scuffs here and there. Saddle Speedster / Carrera seats in great shape, carpet is good, have period correct retro radio to go with car, but currently has pioneer CD and 4 way speakers. Clutch and short shifter work great. 'Nuff said, priced at the bottom of all Intermeccainca's out there, I'm offering at a very low reserve price, bid with confidence. I'm parting with a couple car out of my collection to make room for new one's on the way...The vehicle is available for viewing and test drives for serious buyers only. With that said, this is a used vehicle with no warranty expressed or implied, I've tried to be as descriptive as possible and this is a legally binding contract. So do not bid unless you intend to buy, don't waste my time or yours. As I mentioned above, the previous listing nearly sold and was less than $1000 off the reserve, thus the reserve has been lowered and ready for a quick sale. Thanks for your interest and good luck, Happy bidding! :)
