Vehicle Detail
Condition: For a 15 year old vehicle, this white exterior / gray leather interior Nissan Pathfinder LE is in pretty good shape. Although it has endured its share of fender benders and general use from my two college students as they went off to college, this is a solid, great-driving SUV. Rides smooth, quiet and rattle-free. Although it has no major accidents, has original body panels and no frame damage, you will see a few accidents on the Auto-Check report. There are some scratches on the moldings, but the paint generally clean and blemish free. Leather is smooth and not cracking. Some natural wear on the drivers bolster and door panel wood grain. Carpet is clean and stain free with full pile and no worn spots. Has mats included. The windshield glass is crack free; there are some scratches in the tinting on the rear windows privacy glass. Headliner is clean tight and straight. Rear struts work well and hold up hatch and glass - just replace the glass struts recently. Motor compartment clean. New radiator. New tires. Fresh oil change and tire rotation. Non-smoker. Everything works - cruise control, power windows, electric locks, etc. Radio antennae mast broke a few days ago but I have a new one on the way. Below the front bumper, the fascia and bumperette has a little hit on the driver’s side with a cracked fog light. Have bought a new fog light but haven't installed it. One of the wheels has some curb rash (shown in pictures). Motor runs strong; the 4 wheel drive is fully functional. Have 2 sets of keys, owner’s manual and service records. All-in-all this is a 7 out of 10 and would make a great first car for a high school or college student, or a Nissan Pathfinder enthusiast looking for a great off-road vehicle. These things have a great reputation as a solid, well-made trouble-free vehicle, and they run a long time. This Pathfinder should have many more years on the road as a solid low-maintenance service! Features: The LE model in the Pathfinder line was the luxury edition. This car is equipped with dual-mode 4 wheel drive with a high and low range. It has leather upholstery and a simulated wood dash and door trim. The rear seats fold (60/40 split), and the cargo area is fully carpeted. The hatch has 2 opening modes - just the glass, or the entire liftgate. It has a rear window defroster and privacy glass in the back. It has a full size spare. There is air conditioning (air blows cold!), power windows, power brakes, power steering, and automatic climate control. The audio system has a CD player, with cassette and AM/FM radio. Everything works as it should - it’s a nice upgraded Bose system that is part of the factory LE package, with no blown speakers. Heated seats (driver and passenger), transmission cooler, center console with two compartments and lots of storage and power outlet, rear power outlet, compass and temperature roof console display, map pockets, auto-dimming mirror, electric side mirrors, running boards, fog lights, roof rack, body color mud flaps, rear wiper and power locks are all part of the deluxe package. History: This SUV is bone stock, and has never been off-roaded, abused or modified in any way. We bought it from a local dealer we do a lot of business with a few years ago. A friend of mine who is in sales there called and said they just got a clean trade-in from an older couple on a new BMW - they were the original owners and we are the second owners. We ran up to the dealership just after Christmas in 2009 and found a well-maintained, clean CarFax one-owner car. We bought it immediately and have changed the oil regularly, rotated the tires and done all the required maintenance since we've owned it. It doesn't burn oil or smoke in any way - the engine is strong and has full power. The radiator was recently replaced, and we put fresh tires on it about 4,000 miles ago. We bought it with exactly 130,000 miles on it, so we've put a gentle 26,000 miles on it in nearly 3 years. It’s been a southern car its entire life, so it has never been in snow or salt. The undercarriage is clean. This car gets about 16 MPG around town, and 24 MPG on the freeway, so it’s pretty easy on gas for a 4WD SUV. The Pathfinder has been a great car for our family, moving my kids in and out of the dorms over the past 3 years, but it's time for someone else to enjoy it. We just bought my son a new car, and we are out of room in the driveway! Shipping and Payment: The winning bidder will post a $500.00 deposit by PayPal with 48 hours of the auction end.
