This is a 1976 Super Beetle Convertible. I have been the owner of the car since I purchased it in 1987. The title is clear. The car is in great shape and runs well. The current motor has 75k on it since the last rebuild. The engine is a standard 1600cc dual port. During the last rebuild I had the motor converted to carb from the air flow fuel injection system. Everything on the car works and the top is in good shape with no tears to the interior or leaks. The interior is in fair condition and there are a few tears on the seats. The headliner is original and is showing a lot of wear from the years. There is no rust thru on the body and it is solid. The only repair was to the floor pan after I bought the car. There was a small area below the battery that had rusted thru. It was fixed and repair welded in and it has held up with no problems for over 20 years. The tires are excellent with plenty or tread wear left on them. The brakes and suspension are very good. This car can be used as a daily driver. It is registered locally every year and passes emissions and inspection with no problems. The car is covered and garaged during the winter months and is only driven during the summer. I have all the paperwork since I purchased the car in 1987. This is a very well cared for car for its age. You will find it hard to locate one that has been with the owner as long as this one. It would make a great daily driver, or good for a full restoration. Buyer is responsible for payment and pick up. A deposit of $500 with Paypal will need to be made with in 48 hours of auction close.
