i am reposting my 1947 buick again due to a lousy ebayer saying they needed 2 months to pay me after winning the last auction, which said payment due in 7 days. guess he didnt read that part. it is a 1947 buick 50 series sedanette. straight 8, 3 on the tree, the car is mechanically sound. ive put new points, plugs, plug wires, battery etc and all of the gauges work. i did the brakes 3 years ago, runs and drives great. i know the previous owner and to my knowledge the mileage on the odometer is true, but the last title from fla in 1985 doesnt have the mileage on it. it does still have the original tires, including the spare and all the trim is there. ive spent over 1800 on the seats alone this year. they are done in light gray cloth. the inner door panels and all the hardware are there, but the door panels are in rough shape. the only things the car needs to be on the road, is some wiring of lights and a vacume line for the wipers, i do have a disconnect on the battery because there is a draw and if you leave it, it runs the battery dowm. the are a couple of small holes in the floor right in front of where the seats are. i just scabbed a couple of patches on them and was going to run it that way until i had the time to restore the whole car. the is a quarter sized hole in the body right by the trunk and like a dumbass i left a cardboard box in the trunk for 2 years and it got wet and now there is a hole in the floor of the trunk. the only modifications to the car are the rear springs have been cut and heated to lower the back of the car. the car needs very little to be driving and it is a very solid piece for either a resto or a rod. Sold as is/where is.
